The first quarter of 2023 has seen varying performances among the top Music/Rhythm applications on Android in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data gives us a closer look at these trends.
Just Dance Now from Ubisoft Entertainment experienced a decrease in revenue, starting at around $14k in the last week of December and dropping to approximately $8k by the end of March. Downloads for the app began at around 28k and had a slight increase to about 24k. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a starting point of around 56k and a slight rise to approximately 51k.
Beatstar - Touch Your Music by Space Ape showed a revenue trend that fluctuated, peaking at $5k in early February but settling at around $3.8k by late March. The app saw a significant spike in downloads in late January with over 100k, which then normalized to about 22k. Weekly active users saw a peak of around 403k in January, followed by a gradual decrease to approximately 263k.
UniuGame's Sweet Dance-LA had modest revenue figures, with a peak of almost $4k in mid-February, ending the quarter at around $3.3k. Downloads and weekly active users showed a steady increase, with downloads starting at nearly 1.8k and reaching over 3k, and active users growing from around 3.2k to approximately 4k.
Ensemble Stars Music by HappyElements saw a significant drop in revenue from $2k in mid-January to virtually no revenue in mid-March, before a slight recovery to $684 by the end of March. The download count remained fairly stable, hovering around 1.6k to 2k, while the number of weekly active users remained consistent, with a slight increase from about 5.4k to 5.7k.
Lastly, SEGA CORPORATION's HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! showed a decline in revenue from $6k at the end of December to about $3.6k by the end of March. Downloads saw a peak at over 13k in mid-March, dropping to around 9.4k. Active users started strong at around 66k, peaking at approximately 76k in late March.
