Q1 2023 Performance of Top Real-Time Strategy Android Apps in the US

Sensor Tower's latest data provides a comprehensive look at the top five real-time strategy Android applications in the United States for the first quarter of 2023.

Mob Control, published by VOODOO, maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at around $90k in late February. Downloads for the app saw a decline, starting at around 159k at the end of December and dropping to approximately 86k by the end of March. Weekly active users spiked in late February, reaching over 596k before settling down to around 599k by the quarter's end.

Ubisoft Entertainment's South Park: Phone Destroyer™ experienced a significant increase in revenue, jumping from $7k to a peak of around $23k in the final week of March. Downloads also saw impressive growth, from about 2.6k at the beginning of the period to over 34k in the same time. Weekly active users more than tripled, from around 23k to nearly 79k.

Stick War: Legacy by Max Games Studios showed a slight decline in revenue, ending the quarter at around $4k. Downloads varied, with a low of around 11.9k in late January and a high of nearly 20k in late March. The weekly active users showed a modest increase, from around 65k to 58k.

Supercell's Clash Royale saw revenues fluctuate, with a high of nearly $300k in early February, and ending the quarter with about $194k. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to around 19k by March's end. Weekly active users had a slight decrease from 3.58 million to 3.23 million.

Lastly, The Battle Cats from PONOS Corporation had a revenue drop from around $99k in late December to approximately $58k in late March. The game's downloads declined from 16k to 10.9k, while weekly active users saw a marginal decrease from around 102k to 94.5k.
