Top Virtual Pet Apps Performance in the US, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, virtual pet applications continued to capture the interest of users across the United States. With data provided by Sensor Tower, we delve into the performance of the top five apps in this category.

My Talking Tom 2 from Outfit7 Limited showed a notable performance in revenue, peaking at approximately $7.4K in the week of December 22. Weekly downloads saw a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching about 69.3K in the final week of December. Active users fluctuated, peaking at around 739K in late November.

Friends – Raise AI Companions by SLAY GmbH experienced a remarkable surge in both downloads and revenue. Weekly revenue hit a high of roughly $50.5K in late December, while downloads soared to 121K in the same period. The app maintained a strong user base, although active users saw a decline towards the end of December, dropping to around 399K.

My Talking Angela 2 also performed well, with revenue reaching about $11.4K in the last week of December. Downloads increased steadily, peaking at 66.4K in the final week. The app's active users reached a high of approximately 754K by the end of December.

My Talking Tom saw a modest revenue peak of about $1.3K in late December. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 50.4K in the last week. However, active users showed a downward trend, ending the quarter at around 136K.

Finally, My Talking Tom Friends witnessed a revenue peak of approximately $6.5K in the week of December 22. Downloads rose to 44K by the end of December, while active users gradually increased, finishing the quarter at around 256K.
