Top 5 Utilities Apps Performance in Germany Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top utilities applications on the unified platform in Germany demonstrated varying trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower.

AusweisApp Bund saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 114K and peaking at 143K in early November before gradually decreasing to approximately 94K by the end of December. Its weekly active users mirrored a similar pattern, beginning at roughly 979K, peaking at over 1M in early November, and declining to 798K by the end of the quarter.

i-Kfz experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from 464K at the start of November to just over 40K by year-end. Active users also declined from 402K to 216K over the same period.

Google showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, growing from $622 to $1.7K by the end of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 56K to 53K. Active users saw minor fluctuations but remained around 58M.

Google Chrome had a stable download trend, with numbers hovering around 47K, peaking slightly at 54K in late December. Its active users remained consistent at approximately 53M throughout the quarter.

Google Authenticator experienced a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 90K and reaching up to 116K mid-December. Active users fluctuated, peaking at nearly 3.4M before a drop to 2.8M by the end of December.
