In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top travel and local apps in Ecuador demonstrated varied performance trends on the unified platform. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower.

LATAM Pass showed a robust increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 35K in late December. Meanwhile, weekly active users saw a consistent rise from 133K to over 214K by the end of the quarter.

Airbnb experienced a steady growth in weekly downloads, culminating at nearly 14K in the last week of December. Active users also increased significantly, starting at approximately 219K and reaching nearly 293K by quarter's end.

Despegar: vuelos y hoteles maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly figures fluctuating around 5K to 7K. Active users saw a gradual increase, beginning at 20K and ending around 25K.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map had a modest download trend with a peak of approximately 3.8K in late December. Active users showed slight fluctuations, starting at 67K and closing at around 62K.

Finally, Google Earth experienced a decline in both downloads and active users, with downloads decreasing from nearly 2K to just over 1K by the end of December, while active users dropped from 29K to about 26K.
