In the fourth quarter of 2025, the travel and local app segment in Switzerland showcased intriguing trends across the top five applications on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

P+Rail from Schweizerische Bundesbahnen SBB saw a consistent download pattern, starting at around 7.4K weekly downloads and peaking at 9.9K in early November. However, by the end of December, downloads tapered to approximately 4.9K. The app observed a fluctuating pattern in weekly active users, with numbers ranging from 75K to a high of about 92.2K mid-December before declining to 66.5K by the quarter's end.

Polarsteps experienced a varied download trend, beginning at 8.5K and reaching up to 9.5K in late October. Downloads then decreased to around 6.5K in early December, before rising again to 9.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trajectory, starting at 158K, dipping to 94.2K, and then climbing to 161.6K by the end of December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a stable download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 5.6K and 7.3K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers showed significant movement, beginning at 559.8K, dipping to 437.6K mid-December, and then surging to 653.4K by the end of the period.

UK ETA displayed a consistent pattern in downloads, starting the quarter at 8K, peaking at 8.3K, and then descending to 4.1K by the end of December. Weekly active users showed a decline from 23.6K to 14.8K over the same period.

Parkingpay experienced a steady download rate, ranging from 4.5K to 5.6K. Active users started at 311.9K, rose to a high of 359.3K in late November, and then decreased to 260.8K by the end of the quarter.
