In the fourth quarter of 2025, the tools app category in the United Arab Emirates saw significant activity across major apps, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five applications on a unified platform.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy from Nord Security demonstrated a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $34.9K and concluding the quarter around $35.8K. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at 13.5K in mid-October, while active users increased from 202.1K to a high of 253.4K in early December before settling at 218.3K.

ExpressVPN: VPN Fast & Secure maintained a steady revenue stream, beginning near $32K and ending the quarter at $27K. Downloads were consistent, hovering around 2.7K weekly, while active users saw a gradual decline from 174K to 144.8K by the end of December.

The app X-VPN: Fast VPN & Secure Proxy experienced a peak in revenue at $91.3K at the start of the quarter, with a closing figure of $82K. Weekly downloads remained strong, starting at 27.7K and slightly decreasing to 23.8K. Active users showed variability, peaking at 1.04M in late October and ending at 874.3K.

Turbo VPN - Secure VPN Proxy noted a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching 46.1K by the end of December. Revenue trends were relatively stable, fluctuating between $10.9K and $14.9K, while active users consistently increased, closing the quarter at 812.3K.

Finally, VPN Proxy Master - Safer Vpn saw a consistent rise in downloads, peaking at 53.6K in early December. Revenue varied, starting at $16K and ending at $15.1K. Active users rose steadily, reaching over 1.09M at the end of the quarter.
