In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top tabletop board games apps in New Zealand showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Chess - Play & Learn Online from Chess.com saw its weekly revenue peak at about $7.2K in late November. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 1K and 1.2K throughout the quarter. The app's active users reached a high of 36.7K near the end of November.

For Chess - Offline Board Game by GamoVation, weekly downloads showed a decline from 629 to 315 by early December, before rebounding to 507 at the end of the quarter. Active users saw a decrease from 2.8K to around 2.2K before a slight rise to 2.5K.

Ludo King, published by GAMETION GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES, experienced an increase in downloads from 370 to 514 by the end of December. Revenue peaked at $200 in late December, while active users grew from 2K to 2.3K by quarter's end.
