In the last quarter of 2025, the top social networking applications in Germany exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends from Hyperconnect LLC saw fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $218K and ending the quarter at around $200K, with a peak of $223K in late December. Weekly downloads increased significantly in December, reaching over 25K, while weekly active users varied, peaking at about 135K in early December before dropping to 93K by the end of the month.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat maintained a stable weekly revenue with minor variations, starting at $211K and closing at $193K. Weekly downloads remained relatively consistent, fluctuating between 3K and 4K. However, weekly active users showed a downward trend, starting at 191K and ending at 174K.

Telegram Messenger demonstrated a strong increase in weekly revenue, from $204K to nearly $250K by the end of December. The app experienced a slight decrease in weekly downloads, maintaining figures around 100K, while weekly active users showed a steady decline from over 18.5M to 18.4M.

JOYCE Dating Singles & Paare observed a steady increase in weekly revenue, ending the quarter at $186K, up from $150K. Downloads saw a gradual increase, peaking at nearly 8K by the end of December. Weekly active users remained stable, fluctuating around the 280K mark.

Snoggle: Chat, Meet & Date App from Joy Media AG had a moderate increase in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at $177K. Downloads peaked in late December at over 20K, while weekly active users showed a gradual increase, reaching nearly 98K by the end of the quarter.
