In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on a unified platform in Nigeria showed notable performance metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

CapCut: Photo & Video Editor demonstrated a robust increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 242K by the last week of December. Weekly revenue also saw an upward trajectory, culminating around $37K. Active users grew significantly, reaching over 7M by the end of the quarter.

YouTube maintained a steady presence with active users consistently hovering around 75M. Downloads surged in December, reaching about 72K weekly, while revenue increased gradually, ending the quarter around $6.6K weekly.

Instagram experienced stable download numbers, with a peak of approximately 189K in the final week. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, ending at about $9.4K per week. Active users remained steady, slightly above 10M.

Snapchat saw a notable spike in downloads, reaching a high of 297K in late December. Revenue exhibited a gradual increase, peaking at around $19.8K. Active users climbed consistently, closing the quarter at approximately 13.5M.

Twitch: Live Streaming recorded a significant increase in both downloads and active users, particularly in mid-December with downloads hitting 318K and active users reaching 153K. Revenue also saw a substantial rise, peaking at $5K during the same period.
