In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications in Mexico showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

CapCut: Photo & Video Editor by Bytedance Pte. Ltd experienced varied trends throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $490K in mid-November, while downloads reached a high of 488K in late October. The app’s active users saw a late surge, climbing from around 10.8M to over 12.4M by the end of December.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor maintained consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $338K in early December. However, downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 307K in late September and dropping to 108K by the end of December. Active users also declined significantly from 11.7M to approximately 6.6M over the quarter.

YouTube, published by Google, recorded high revenue figures, peaking at $638K in late November. Downloads peaked at 141K in the week before Christmas, demonstrating a notable increase. Active users remained stable around the 79M mark throughout the quarter.

Instagram showed stable performance, with weekly revenue fluctuating slightly and peaking at $56K in late November. Downloads hovered around 380K at the start of the quarter and saw minor fluctuations. Active users remained steady, closing the quarter at approximately 45.5M.

Snapchat saw gradual increases in revenue, peaking at $23K in the week of Christmas. Downloads showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, reaching 199K in the final week of December. Active users decreased initially but rebounded to over 8.1M by the end of the quarter.
