In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top five news applications in Ghana showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at how these apps fared on a unified platform.

X from X Corp. saw a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.4K in early November and ending the quarter with around $1.7K. Weekly downloads experienced a significant surge in early December, reaching 30.1K, while weekly active users maintained a stable presence, averaging just over 2M throughout the quarter.

Reddit had modest revenue, with a peak of $11 in the last week of December. Downloads remained relatively steady, averaging around 1.6K weekly. Active users showed a slight decline from 26.7K to 24.8K by the end of December.

PCG Resources maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 1.9K and increasing to 4.2K by the end of the quarter. There was no revenue data available for this app.

Quora experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 993 and ending the quarter at 824. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 40K throughout the period.
