In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top-performing news and magazine applications in Central America showed diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

X from X Corp. displayed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, rising from approximately $29.4K at the start of the quarter to $51.5K by the end of December. Weekly downloads experienced fluctuations, peaking at 175.6K in mid-October, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with around 21M.

Noticias Locales, published by NEWSDELIVER LIMITED, saw modest weekly revenue, reaching $70 by the end of December. Downloads declined significantly throughout the quarter, starting from 20.8K and dropping to just over 1K. However, active users showed resilience, maintaining a range around 800K.

Breaking News - Live Headlines had no reported revenue, but downloads varied, with a notable spike to 18.3K in early October. Active users peaked at 213K in the same period, before stabilizing around 154K by the end of the quarter.

The second Noticias Locales app from YING LIANG HK LIMITED, exhibited a downward trend in downloads, beginning the quarter at 9.1K and ending at 1.9K.
