Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in South America Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the navigation and maps application market in South America showcased diverse trends across the top-performing apps. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these applications.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic exhibited a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 337K at the beginning of the quarter and peaking at approximately 492K by December 22. The app also maintained a strong user base, with active users rising from 35.6M to a high of 39.4M mid-quarter.

Google Maps Go saw a steady download rate, reaching a high of 270K in the week of December 15. Despite fluctuations, its active users remained robust, peaking at 183M. Revenue for this app showed modest growth, with weekly earnings reaching up to $103.

Google Earth experienced a varied download pattern, with a notable peak at 140K in late November. The app's active user count remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at approximately 1.75M.

Live Earth Map & GPS Tracker saw a significant rise in downloads, reaching 236K in mid-December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, peaking at 235K. Revenue started to grow in December, ending the quarter at $631.

Lastly, Radarbot Speed Camera Detector achieved consistent revenue growth, peaking at $59.8K in late December. Downloads also increased, with a high of 71K in the final week of the year. Active users saw a substantial rise, ending the quarter at 817K.
