Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Oman Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Oman showed varied performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower's data.

Google Maps Go saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 6.8K in late November. The active user base remained robust, ranging from around 940K to over 1M throughout the quarter. Revenue for this app was minimal, with only a slight uptick in early December.

Google Earth experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 5.5K and dropping to about 2.6K by the end of the year. Active users fluctuated slightly, reaching a peak of 21.5K in late November before settling at 15.8K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a notable increase in downloads in early December, hitting 3.4K. Weekly active users varied between 92K and 109K, with a noticeable dip towards the end of the quarter.

Qibla Compass maintained a consistent download rate, with a peak of 1.2K in late December. Active users gradually increased, reaching about 7.4K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Live Earth Map - World Map 3D saw a decline in downloads, starting at 613 and decreasing to 394 by December's end. Active users hovered around 230 to 382, with a slight revenue increase, peaking at $69 in late December.
