In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Ghana showed varied performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 24.6K in early October. Despite fluctuations, it ended the quarter with approximately 18.9K downloads per week. The app's active user base grew steadily from 697K to 766K by the end of December.

GhanaPostGPS experienced a moderate download rate, starting with 7.7K and closing the quarter at about 3.9K. Active users increased steadily, reaching a peak of 64.6K mid-December before slightly declining to 54.7K by the end of the quarter.

GPS Satellite Maps: Live Earth saw a gradual rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 2.5K and peaking at 4.1K towards the end of December. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing from 2.5K to 5.5K over the same period.

Easy Rout Map: Navigation Path showed significant growth in downloads, particularly in December, jumping from 2.3K to a peak of 10.7K before settling at 4.5K. Active users increased notably, rising from 10.8K to 20.1K mid-December, before stabilizing at 14.4K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, GPS Camera Map & Timestamp began the quarter with minimal downloads but saw a surge to 4.2K in mid-November. This was followed by a decline, closing the quarter at 237. Active users grew from 1K to 4K in mid-November and then decreased to 1.9K by year-end.
