Q4 2025 Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Costa Rica

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of navigation and maps applications in Costa Rica showed varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here’s a look at the top five apps in this category.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 9K and peaking at over 12K in mid-December. The app’s active users fluctuated, with a notable increase to over 1M in early December before settling down to approximately 924K by the end of the quarter.

Google Maps Go maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a slight peak of 4.7K in early December. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 1.9M in mid-December. Weekly revenue remained minimal, with occasional small spikes.

Finally, Live Earth Map - World Map 3D experienced steady downloads with minor fluctuations, and active users remained fairly consistent throughout the quarter. Revenue for this app showed some growth, reaching $152 in late December.
