Top Navigation and Maps Apps in UAE Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated varied performance metrics across downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent upward trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 27.3K in early December. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a notable increase from around 954K to over 1M by the end of December.

Google Maps Go maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads rising to nearly 26K by the end of December. Active users consistently hovered above 4.3M, showing a slight upward trend. Revenue remained minimal, with a peak of $9 in early December.

2GIS: Offline map & navigation experienced moderate download numbers, reaching a high of 10K in late December. Active users increased steadily throughout the quarter, starting at 153K and climbing to nearly 198K.

Google Earth displayed a decline in weekly downloads, dropping to around 4.3K in late December. Active users saw a decrease from 72K to about 58K over the quarter.

Qibla Compass showed growth in both downloads and active users, with downloads increasing to over 4.1K and active users reaching 17.6K by the end of the year. Revenue also saw a gradual rise, peaking at $11 in the final week of December.
