In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top music and podcasts applications on the unified platform in Australia showed varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts demonstrated strong financial performance with weekly revenue peaking at $226K in late November. Downloads saw a significant spike in the first week of December, reaching approximately 53.5K, while weekly active users peaked at around 7.4M at the same time.

YouTube Music from Google maintained a consistent revenue stream, with a notable high of $158K mid-December. Weekly downloads increased to 13.5K in early December, and active users reached a peak of approximately 1.48M in mid-December.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts experienced steady download numbers, with a peak of 12.6K at the end of December. Active users saw an increase, reaching approximately 945K in the final week of the quarter.

LiSTNR had a notable increase in downloads, peaking at 12.3K in mid-December. However, active users showed a decline, dropping to around 94K at the end of the quarter.

Bose saw a dramatic increase in downloads, reaching 23.2K in the week before Christmas. Active user numbers also spiked, ending the quarter at approximately 153K.
