In the fourth quarter of 2025, the maps and navigation sector in Ghana saw significant activity across the top five apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads beginning at approximately 26K in early October and peaking at nearly 50K by the end of December. Active user numbers showed an upward trajectory, starting at about 969K and reaching over 1.3M at the quarter's close.

Uber - Request a ride experienced steady weekly downloads, starting at around 10K and climbing to 17.3K by late December. Its active user base grew consistently from 234K to 332K over the same period.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery also showed growth, with downloads increasing from approximately 11.6K to 18.8K by the end of December. Active users rose significantly from 455K to 680K, demonstrating a strong upward trend.

Bolt Driver: Drive & Earn saw a varied pattern in downloads, starting at 5.2K, dipping to 3.8K, and then stabilizing around 4.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 48K mark.

Finally, GhanaPostGPS had a consistent download range, beginning at 7.7K and decreasing to 3.9K by late December. Its active user numbers showed an increase from 47.3K to 62K, despite a dip in the final week.
