In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the leading insurance applications in Oceania showcased varied trends across downloads and active user engagement. Here's a breakdown of how these apps fared based on Sensor Tower's data.

myBupa saw weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at 9.5K and peaking at 10.8K mid-quarter. However, a decline was observed towards the end of December, with downloads dropping to 6.9K. Active users initially increased from 181.6K to a peak of 265.2K, before falling to 196.4K by the end of the quarter.

The AAMI App experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from 13.5K to 4.3K. Despite this, active users increased from 61.6K to 79.8K, indicating strong user retention and engagement throughout the quarter.

My Medibank maintained a steady download rate, starting at 5.3K and reaching 5.2K by the end of December. Active users showed a positive trend, growing from 179.5K to 242.6K, reflecting an increase in user engagement.

For nib, weekly downloads decreased from 4.4K to 2.5K. However, active user numbers remained relatively stable, beginning at 47.8K and ending at 46.1K, suggesting consistent user interest over the quarter.

Lastly, Hostplus experienced a decline in downloads from 5.9K to 2.4K. Active users fluctuated, with a peak of 122.9K early in the quarter, eventually settling at 87K by the end.
