Top Film & Television Apps Performance in Nigeria Q4 2025

During the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of top film and television applications in Nigeria showed varied trends across different metrics. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower.

Hong Kong Movie 香港電影 by Green Tomato Limited experienced low weekly downloads, with numbers hovering around single digits throughout the quarter. Active users also remained minimal, gradually decreasing from 3 to 1 by the end of December.

TodayTix – Broadway Tickets maintained a more dynamic presence with weekly downloads peaking at 319 in late November. Active users showed a peak of 1.1K towards the end of November before experiencing a slight decline to 827 by the end of December.

Major Cineplex had a modest performance with downloads peaking at 9 in early November, while active users saw a gradual decline from 9 to 2 by the end of the quarter.

For the VOX Cinemas App, weekly downloads were minimal, with a slight increase in active users from 10 to 16 in mid-December before settling back to 10 by the end of the quarter.

Finally, m.tix - XXI saw a small spike in downloads mid-quarter, reaching 11 in mid-November. Active users peaked at 16 in late November but decreased to 5 by the end of December.
