Top Dating Apps Performance in Kenya: Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the dating app landscape in Kenya saw diverse trends across the top five applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Pendova - Match. Chat. Date. experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 3.2K and peaking at 29.3K in mid-November. Despite these download numbers, the app did not generate any revenue in this period.

BIBO - Friends, Chat, Call maintained a steady weekly revenue, averaging around $400, but saw a notable increase to $1.2K just before Christmas. Downloads peaked early in the quarter at nearly 29K but declined to 1.5K by the end of December. Active users remained strong, starting at 97K and slightly declining to 82K by the quarter's end.

YADA: Live Chat & Call showed consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $300, with a spike to $894 in late December. Downloads were robust initially, reaching 23K, but dropped significantly to just over 500 by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 43K and then decreasing to 22K.

SOYO: Meet & Chat Party generated stable revenue throughout the quarter, culminating in $1.3K in the week before Christmas. Downloads initially increased, reaching 22.9K in early December, but fell sharply to 2.6K by the end of the year. Active users saw a similar decline from 98K in early November to 22K by the end of December.

Finally, MiChat - Chat, Make Friends witnessed a significant increase in downloads starting in late October, peaking at 27.4K in mid-December. Active users also rose dramatically from just over 1K to nearly 95K by mid-December.
