Q4 2025 Performance of Top Communication Apps in Ukraine

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top communication apps in Ukraine demonstrated varied performance metrics on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

WhatsApp Messenger showed a consistent trend in weekly downloads, starting at 87.5K and peaking at 92.3K in early November. Throughout the quarter, active users fluctuated slightly, beginning with 11.2M and closing at 11.9M.

Telegram experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching $682K by the end of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around 68K weekly, while active users hovered close to 24.6M throughout the period.

For My Kyivstar: mobile services, downloads saw a positive trend, culminating in a peak of 66.3K by late December. Active users showed a significant increase, starting from 4.1M and reaching 5.8M.

Getcontact maintained steady weekly revenue, averaging around $81K, with a slight dip in late December. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 60.5K, while active users decreased from 3.6M to 3M.

Rakuten Viber Messenger showed stable weekly revenue, with figures around $42K, and experienced a growth in downloads, peaking at 43.2K in the final week. Active users remained consistent, starting at 22.3M and slightly decreasing to 21.8M.
