Top 5 Communication Apps Performance in Turkey, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top communication apps in Turkey experienced varied performances across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, according to Sensor Tower data.

Telegram showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $189K by the end of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 169K and ending the quarter at around 145K. Active users saw a decrease over the quarter, dropping from 25.5M to 23.8M.

Getcontact experienced a stable revenue stream, with figures hovering around $100K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a significant drop from 130K to 49K by the end of December, while active users decreased from 4.4M to 3.4M.

Cheero: Tanış, Sohbet, Arkadaş witnessed a consistent rise in revenue, reaching $122K in the final week of December. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at 161K but fell to 97K by the end of the year. Active users fluctuated, ultimately increasing from 71K to 190K.

Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends maintained a weekly revenue around $127K by December’s end. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase from 25K to 41K. Active users decreased from 142K to 106K over the quarter.

Finally, Snapchat showed a steady increase in revenue, reaching $63K in late December. Downloads remained consistent, ending at 145K. Active users grew from 15.2M to nearly 15.7M by the quarter’s close.
