In the fourth quarter of 2025, the communication app landscape in Malta showcased diverse performance trends across the top five apps, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Telegram experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $867 and peaking at $1.7K in late December. Its weekly downloads began at 900 but gradually decreased to 547 by the end of the quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, ending the quarter at approximately $629, while weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 253 and 417.

Snapchat had a notable revenue peak in late December at $1.1K, with a more modest increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 485 at the start of the quarter.

Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends displayed a steady revenue increase, peaking at $711 in December. Weekly downloads, however, were lower, fluctuating between 36 and 134.

Popa Live Video Call showed a gradual revenue increase over the quarter, ending with $146. Downloads were minimal, with numbers ranging from 4 to 60 weekly.
