Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Costa Rica: Q4 2025 Performance

The fourth quarter of 2025 witnessed notable trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Costa Rica, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting around 10K in early October and peaking at nearly 13.8K in early December. Weekly active users initially decreased from 894K to 773K but rebounded to 988K in December before declining again to 681K by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at 7.1K and reaching a high of 9.9K in early December. Active users climbed from 359K to a peak of 475K at the beginning of December, followed by a gradual decline to 309K by the end of the year.

inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a consistent download pattern, with a notable increase from 4.6K to 6.8K in December. The app's active users saw an upward trend, rising from 81K to 89K by the quarter's end.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash showed a rise in downloads from 3.7K to 8K in early December, before dropping to 2.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased steadily from 28K to 34K in early December, declining to 26K by late December.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had stable download figures with a slight peak at 3.2K in mid-October. Active users remained around 25K to 26K throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations.
