In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top books applications in Austria demonstrated varied performance trends on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Thalia – Bücher entdecken showcased a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $13K in early October and peaking at approximately $19K by the end of December. Weekly downloads also saw a noticeable rise, reaching 5K in the last week of December. Active users increased from 59K to over 84K by the quarter's end.

Audible: Audiobooks & Podcasts maintained a steady revenue flow, starting at $58K and peaking at $64K mid-December. Downloads fluctuated slightly, closing the quarter at nearly 3K. Active users peaked at 329K in December, ending the quarter with 313K.

Amazon Kindle experienced a steady climb in revenue, closing the quarter at around $41K. Weekly downloads showed a spike in December, reaching over 3.8K. Active users saw a decrease initially but rebounded to 62K by the end of December.

tolino - eBooks & audiobooks did not generate revenue this quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 500 to 600 weekly, while active users showed a gradual increase from 4.2K to nearly 6K by the end of December.

Wattpad - Read & Write Stories had modest revenue, peaking at $2.1K in late November. Downloads remained consistent, reaching 556 by the end of the quarter. Active users increased steadily, ending December with 13.8K.
