Air Travel Apps Performance on Unified Platform in Mexico, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of top air travel apps in Mexico on a unified platform revealed intriguing trends, as captured by Sensor Tower.

Volaris saw weekly downloads peaking at around 119K mid-November, with a noticeable decline towards the end of December, dropping to about 68K. Active users for Volaris showed a consistent upward trajectory, reaching over 1.2M by the end of the year.

Aeroméxico experienced its highest download figures in mid-November, with approximately 112K downloads. However, by the end of December, downloads decreased to around 63K. The app maintained a strong active user base, peaking at about 820K in early December.

Viva Aerobus: Fly! observed a steady download rate, with peaks in early November at 54K. Active users increased significantly, surpassing 1M by mid-December.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker reported a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $6.3K in late December. Downloads surged in mid-December, reaching 22K, while active users rose sharply, finishing the year at over 340K.

American Airlines maintained a relatively stable download rate, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with around 4K downloads weekly. Active users showed a recovery trend towards the end of the year, reaching over 53K.
