In the fourth quarter of 2025, the virtual pet app market on iOS in Ireland saw varied performance across the top five applications. Here’s a closer look at their trends in downloads, revenue, and active users based on data from Sensor Tower.

Applaydu Play & Discover maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at around 172 downloads in late October. Its weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 724 and ending the year at 640.

Talking Ben the Dog experienced a peak in downloads mid-November with 171 downloads, while weekly active users rose to 347 in the same period. Revenue was minimal, with a brief spike to $21 in mid-November.

For My Talking Tom, downloads showed an upward trend, particularly in late November, reaching 197. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $84, while active users increased steadily, closing at 2,353.

Friends – Raise AI Companions saw a significant revenue jump in late December to $248. Downloads were highest at the start of the quarter with 321, and active users slightly declined from 2,101 to 1,620 by the end of December.

Finally, Dino Fun - Games for kids showed strong revenue growth, peaking at $274 mid-December. Downloads and active users also increased, with notable peaks of 153 downloads and 675 active users in the final week of the year.
