In the fourth quarter of 2025, the social networking app landscape in Sweden saw varied performance trends across the top five platforms on iOS, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Threads by Instagram, Inc. experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 11.7K and peaking at 16K in mid-November, before settling at approximately 12.3K by the end of December. The app's active user base showed a general upward trend, beginning at 627K and ending the quarter at 815K.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a fairly stable download rate, hovering around 6K weekly. The active user count saw minor fluctuations, starting the quarter at 2.9M and closing at 3M.

Google Meet experienced a downward trend in downloads, from 4.3K at the start to 1.5K by the end of December. Active users similarly decreased, from 27.8K to 20.5K over the quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out saw consistent weekly downloads around 3.1K to 3.7K. Revenue for the app showed some peaks, notably reaching $15.3K in the week before Christmas. Active users remained relatively stable, concluding the quarter at 250K.

Telegram Messenger had a steady decline in downloads, starting at 4.3K and ending at 3.2K. However, revenue had significant spikes, notably $32.5K in early October. Active users increased from 510K to 565K by the end of the quarter.
