In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of leading social networking apps on iOS in the Middle East showcased diverse trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals significant insights into their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

Threads saw fluctuating weekly downloads, beginning with approximately 89.8K and peaking at 97.7K in mid-October, before gradually declining to around 77K by the end of December. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users starting at about 4.9M and ending at 5.2M, indicating a steady increase.

Telegram Messenger experienced consistent weekly revenue, culminating at roughly $305K in the final week of December. Downloads varied, starting at 69.7K, dipping mid-quarter, and then recovering to about 69.6K. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around the 10M mark.

WhatsApp Messenger showed a stable download pattern, with numbers hovering around 48K to 55K throughout the quarter. Active users were consistently high, maintaining a figure close to 19M weekly.

Facebook experienced a slight dip in weekly revenue, starting at $14.6K and decreasing to $10.9K by the quarter's end. Downloads began at 38.3K, reaching 40.5K in late December. The app's active users started at around 9.5M, decreasing slightly to 9.3M by the end of the year.

Google Meet maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 48.5K mid-December. Active users experienced a gradual decline from 1.66M to 1.53M.
