Top Photo and Video Apps on iOS in Italy: Q4 2025 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the photo and video app category on iOS in Italy saw significant activity among the top five apps, according to Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their performance:

CapCut: Photo & Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd demonstrated a robust increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $265K in the final week of December. Downloads surged throughout the quarter, culminating at around 57K in the last week. Active users also showed an upward trend, reaching nearly 1.4M by the end of December.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor, published by Canva, saw its weekly revenue rise to about $100K in early December, before dropping to $71K by the end of the month. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at 37K, while active users hit a high of 981K in mid-December, before a decline to 671K.

Meitu- AI Photo & Video Editor from Xiamen Meitu Technology Co., Ltd. experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 89K at the start of the quarter to around 3K by the end. Revenue followed a similar pattern, with an initial peak of $93K dropping to about $4K by the close of December. Active users decreased from 171K to 17K during the quarter.

Edits: Video Editor, by Instagram, Inc., maintained a steady download rate, with a notable increase to 28K in the final week. Active users consistently grew, reaching 110K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, PhotoSi: Photobooks and prints saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 28K in early December. Active users showed a similar trend, climbing to 172K before settling at 131K by the end of the year.
