The fourth quarter of 2025 saw notable trends in the performance of leading photo and video applications on the iOS platform in Ghana. Using data from Sensor Tower, we delve into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five apps.

Snapchat from Snap, Inc. demonstrated a strong finish to the year. Weekly revenue increased steadily, peaking at around $10.6K in late December. Downloads surged towards the end of the quarter, reaching 39.9K, while active users grew from 2.3M to 2.5M.

CapCut: Photo & Video Editor by Bytedance Pte. Ltd. showed consistent growth. Revenue rose to approximately $6.5K by the end of December. Downloads saw a significant spike, exceeding 110K in the last week, with active users climbing from 526K to over 807K.

Lastly, Google Photos: Backup & Edit showed steady performance in terms of revenue, which hovered around $1.1K to $1.4K. Downloads grew marginally, reaching 3.4K in the final week, with active users increasing steadily throughout the quarter, ending with nearly 800K.
