Top News Apps on iOS in Qatar: Q4 2025 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top news applications on the iOS platform in Qatar showcased varied performance metrics. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading apps.

X from X Corp. experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $10K in the final week of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 1.6K in the week of December 8, while weekly active users gradually decreased from approximately 91.6K to 80.6K by the quarter's end.

Reddit maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, with minor fluctuations around $30 to $59. Downloads peaked at 420 in the last week of December, while active users showed a slight decline from 7.4K to 6.7K over the quarter.

Al Kass App saw its highest weekly downloads of 539 in mid-October, with figures generally remaining below 200 for most of the quarter. This app did not report revenue or active user data.

Hukoomi Mobile App did not generate revenue during this period, but weekly downloads were consistent, peaking at 210 in the last week of December.

Substack experienced a steady increase in active users, rising from 1.5K at the start to over 2K by the end of the quarter. Downloads peaked at 232 in late December, maintaining a steady pace throughout.
