In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top five news applications on the iOS platform in Finland exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into their performance.

X from X Corp. saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at around $4.9K in early December. Downloads were relatively stable, with a notable increase to 1.4K in the final week. Active user numbers fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 105K.

Reddit, published by Reddit, Inc., maintained consistent weekly downloads, reaching nearly 1K by the end of December. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $191 in the last week, while active users steadily grew, closing at about 76K.

HS – Helsingin Sanomat from Sanoma Media Finland experienced a gradual increase in both revenue and downloads. Revenue hit $101 by the quarter's end, with downloads peaking at over 1K. Active users remained robust, averaging around 125K.

Yle showed a mixed download pattern, with a peak of 1.1K in early December. Despite no reported revenue, the app maintained a steady user base.

Uusi Juttu demonstrated an interesting trend with a spike in downloads to 2.2K in early November, though revenue was not reported. Active users increased, reaching over 5.5K by late December.
