During the fourth quarter of 2025, the top news applications on the iOS platform in Central America demonstrated varied performance metrics. Here's a closer look at the trends for the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. showed a strong performance with weekly revenue starting at approximately $20.6K and peaking at $40.5K towards the end of December. The app's weekly downloads remained robust, beginning at around 40.4K and rising to over 55.2K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a steady increase, reaching approximately 5.5M by the last week of December.

Reddit experienced a slight fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $222. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend, ending the quarter with approximately 11.2K. Active user numbers consistently increased, finishing the quarter at about 520.6K.

Telemundo Mobile WALA-SP downloads fluctuated, beginning with 549 downloads and spiking to 11.0K mid-quarter before stabilizing. Active users saw a peak at 30.1K in mid-November but declined slightly to 24.4K by the end of December.

Substack showed modest weekly revenue, peaking at $34 in late December. Downloads increased significantly from 1.5K to over 4.1K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users also rose, reaching about 49.1K in the final week.

Noticias Telemundo had a notable spike in downloads to 10.8K in mid-November, after which they stabilized. Active users increased from 3.0K to approximately 4.9K by the quarter’s end.
