In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Switzerland showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Polarsteps Travel experienced varied weekly downloads, starting at 4.7K and peaking at 5.8K in early November. Active users displayed a dip from 91K to 54K mid-quarter but rebounded to 94K by the end of December.

Google Maps maintained a stable presence with weekly downloads around 3.4K to 4.6K. Active users slightly decreased from 2.7M to 2.5M over the quarter. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, reaching up to $29 in late October.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had consistent weekly downloads, with a notable rise to 2.5K in mid-December. Active users showed a gradual decline, starting at 81K and dropping to 71K by quarter's end.

swisstopo saw a decrease in downloads from 3.2K to 0.7K mid-quarter but ended December with a rise to 1.5K. Active users peaked at 170K in early October, stabilizing around 134K by the end of the year. Revenue varied slightly, ranging from $6 to $19.

Google Earth maintained steady download numbers, ranging from 1K to 1.7K. Active users started at 34K and concluded the quarter with a slight increase to 30K.
