Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Angola: Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Google Maps led the navigation and maps category on iOS in Angola. Weekly downloads saw a gradual decline, starting from around 2.5K at the beginning of the quarter and dipping to approximately 1.5K by the end. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 95K to 100K throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a slight increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 341 and ending at 405. Active users showed a modest rise, moving from 8.8K to over 9K by the end of December.

Google Earth had a consistent decline in downloads, starting at 187 and dropping to 88 by the last week of December. Active users also decreased gradually, from 640 to 491.

MapXplorer: Map Radar Navigate displayed fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 342 in mid-October and ending the quarter with only 6 downloads. Its revenue peaked at $39 in November and settled at $15 by the end of the year. Active users remained fairly stable, averaging around 1.7K.

TerraCam: GPS Satellite showed significant growth in downloads, particularly in early December, reaching 481 before declining to 63. Revenue varied slightly, peaking at $34 in mid-October. Active users increased significantly, reaching a peak of 520 in early December before settling at 247.
