Top 5 Music and Podcasts Apps on iOS in Russia Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Russian iOS market for music and podcast applications saw significant activity among the top five apps. According to Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Yandex Music, books & podcasts experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, reaching a peak of approximately $39K in late November. Downloads showed a significant increase towards the end of December, hitting around 74K. The app maintained a stable user base, closing the quarter with about 11M active users.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts had a consistent download pattern, with numbers hovering around 25K in the final week. Its active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter at over 3.3M.

VK Music: playlists & podcasts saw a notable revenue surge in November, peaking at approximately $114K. Downloads increased towards the end of December, reaching 27K, while active users grew steadily, peaking at over 1.2M.

SoundCloud: The Music You Love maintained steady revenue, peaking at around $7.1K in mid-December. Despite some fluctuations, weekly downloads ended the quarter at approximately 8.9K, while active users showed a slight decline, closing at around 336K.

МТС Music – музыка и подкасты displayed modest revenue gains, peaking at $190 in late December. Downloads remained fairly stable, with a slight increase to 7.8K in the final week, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at about 442K.
