In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the top music and podcast apps on iOS in Kenya showed varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower.

YouTube Music from Google experienced a notable surge in weekly downloads, peaking at around 5.4K in early December. This increase was accompanied by a rise in weekly revenue, which reached approximately $603 in late November. The number of active users also saw a significant boost, climbing from 8.8K to over 13.8K by the start of December.

TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports demonstrated a steady performance in revenue, maintaining around $150 throughout the quarter. However, downloads and active users showed a slight decline towards the end of the period, with downloads dropping to 56 and active users decreasing to 75 by the end of December.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast showed consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $180, with a peak of $214 in late November. Downloads remained stable, while active users saw a gradual decline from 1.8K to approximately 1.2K by the quarter's end.

Audiomack - Play Music Offline saw an upward trend in downloads, reaching 833 by late December. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging about $140, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at 9.6K.

SoundCloud: The Music You Love witnessed increased downloads, peaking at 201 in late December. Revenue varied throughout the quarter, with a high of $120 in mid-October. Active users showed some fluctuation but maintained a steady presence around 1.2K.
