In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications on iOS in Italy showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Prima Assicurazioni started the quarter with around 4.6K weekly downloads, experiencing a slight decline towards the end of December to approximately 3.7K. Despite this, the app maintained a healthy user base, with active users peaking at 80.4K in early October before settling at about 59K by the end of the year.

For MyGenerali, downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, beginning with 5.1K and dipping to 2.7K by the end of December. Active users, however, showed a more stable trend, starting at 45.2K and maintaining levels around 45K to 48K throughout the period.

Unipol Assicurazioni saw a consistent download pattern, remaining in the range of 3.5K to 3.9K weekly. The app's active user numbers increased significantly over the quarter, starting at 85.8K and reaching a high of 101.5K mid-December before closing at 90.8K.

Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni experienced a steady download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 2.3K and 3.4K. Active users showed an upward trend, peaking at 35.2K in November before ending the year at 31.8K.

Finally, Alleanza had variable download numbers, starting at 2.5K and decreasing to 1K by the end of December. Unfortunately, active user data was not available for this app.
