In the final quarter of 2025, the top free-to-play games on the iOS platform in New Zealand showcased various trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Block Blast！ by Hungry Studio saw a significant surge in weekly downloads, which climbed from around 6.2K in early October to approximately 9.9K by the end of December. The game maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users increasing from 130K to 154K over the quarter.

Solitaire Associations Journey from Hitapps Games LTD experienced substantial growth in weekly revenue, starting from negligible amounts in October and reaching $1.2K by the last week of December. Weekly downloads also saw a peak at 8.7K in mid-November, although they declined to 3.7K by the end of the year. Active users demonstrated a steady increase, peaking at 15.9K in mid-November before tapering off to 11.2K.

Clash Royale by Supercell continued to generate impressive revenue, with weekly figures fluctuating and peaking at $55.8K in early October. Despite this, downloads gradually decreased from 5.8K to 1.8K, while active users saw a decline from 74K to 53K by the end of December.

Imposter Who? - Word Game from Sokak Technologies Inc. showed a steady increase in both downloads and revenue. Downloads rose from 3.3K to 6.7K, and revenue peaked at $1.9K in the final week of December. Active users also grew, reaching 10.3K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Roblox by Roblox Corporation maintained strong revenue, with weekly earnings around $1K. Downloads showed some fluctuation, peaking at 4.2K in late December. Active users experienced a dip early in the quarter but recovered to 148K by year-end.
