In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the top fast food apps on the iOS platform in New Zealand revealed interesting trends. Data sourced from Sensor Tower highlights the dynamics of weekly downloads and active users for these popular apps.

KFC New Zealand saw a fluctuating download trend, starting at approximately 6.6K downloads and dropping to around 2.4K mid-October before stabilizing in the 1.8K to 2K range by December. Weekly active users began at 37.9K, peaked at 45.7K in mid-October, and gradually decreased to 31.6K by the end of December.

McDonald’s experienced a peak in downloads with nearly 5K in late October, followed by a steady decline to about 2.2K by year-end. Active users showed a robust initial count of 141.3K, reaching a high of 194.7K in early December before settling back to 133.2K.

Pizza Hut New Zealand maintained a consistent download range, starting at 2K and slightly decreasing to about 1.4K by December's end. Their active user base showed resilience, fluctuating between 16K and 20.4K, with a notable increase to 17.4K in the final week.

Burger King NZ had a stable download pattern, ranging from 1.1K to 1.7K, with a notable peak in early December. Active users remained relatively low, beginning at 254 and peaking at 343 mid-December.
