Top Cryptocurrency Apps on iOS in New Zealand Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the cryptocurrency app market in New Zealand on the iOS platform saw varied performance across the top five apps. According to data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at the trends in weekly downloads and active users.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto observed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 485 at the beginning of the quarter and reaching approximately 256 by the end of December. Meanwhile, weekly active users decreased from about 9.6K to 6.2K over the same period.

Easy Crypto Wallet: Buy BTC also experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 379 and dropping to around 180 by the quarter's end.

Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL showed fluctuations in downloads, peaking mid-quarter at 425 before declining to 148. The active users started at 1.4K, declining to 885 by the end of December.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO saw an initial drop in downloads from 289 to 145, but a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a downward trend initially, but numbers began to recover from early December, ending at 4.7K.

Exodus: Crypto Bitcoin Wallet maintained relatively stable download numbers, starting at 159 and ending at 106. The number of active users, however, decreased from 1.5K to 673.
