Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Romania: Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Romanian iOS market for carpooling and ridesharing apps showcased notable trends across the top applications. According to Sensor Tower data, here is an overview of the performance metrics for the leading apps.

Bolt: Request a Ride consistently led in downloads, starting at approximately 7.4K weekly at the beginning of October and peaking at 8.9K in mid-December. Weekly active users for Bolt showed a slight increase, reaching around 765K before a drop to 549K by the end of December.

The Uber - Request a ride app experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 6.2K and closing the quarter at 6.5K. Its active user base saw fluctuations, peaking at 388K mid-December before settling at 300K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained a steady download rate, hovering around 2K weekly. Active users showed some volatility, reaching a high of 36K in November and stabilizing around 31K towards the year’s end.

Blue Romania recorded a varied download pattern, starting at 1.7K and ending at 1.5K. Its active user numbers fluctuated slightly, peaking at 7K and concluding the period at around 5.5K.

The Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver app showed moderate download activity, beginning at 801 and closing at 985 weekly downloads. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 4.8K.
