In the fourth quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in Austria saw varied performances among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps. According to data from Sensor Tower, these applications demonstrated unique trends in weekly downloads and active users.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at around 4K and peaking at nearly 6.9K by the end of October. Downloads increased again in December, reaching a high of approximately 6.4K. Active users for Uber showed an overall upward trend, beginning at 80.8K and rising to 121.1K by the end of the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady download rate, with numbers increasing from 2K to 3.7K towards the end of December. Active users also showed consistent growth, starting at 38.1K and reaching 39.9K by the quarter's close.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery saw a gradual increase in downloads from 538 to 1.5K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers were also on the rise, beginning at 41.1K and peaking at 52.9K in late December.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a modest increase in downloads, moving from 243 to 554 by the end of the quarter. The active user base showed some fluctuation but ended the quarter at 3.2K.

Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a steady climb in downloads, from 177 to 471. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 3.2K and closing at 3.9K.
