In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Australian iOS market saw notable trends in the performance of top auto applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

carsales App: Buy & Sell Cars maintained a consistent download rate with slight fluctuations. Downloads started at around 7.5K, peaked at 8.2K in early October, and saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, closing at approximately 6.6K. Active users showed a mixed trend, beginning at 322K, peaking at 340K in early December, and finishing strong at 339K.

Petrol Spy Australia exhibited a varied download pattern, starting at 6.8K, spiking to 7.9K in early December, and ending the quarter at about 6.8K. Revenue was relatively stable, with a notable peak at $418 in late December. Active users started at 288K and saw a gradual decline to 218K by the end of December.

The BPme app had a peak download week in early November with 8.7K downloads, while the rest of the quarter saw numbers ranging from 4.9K to 7.9K. Active users increased from 61K to a peak of 77K at the start of December, before declining to 63K at the end of the quarter.

RACV experienced a download dip mid-quarter, starting at 4.6K, dropping to 3.1K, and then rebounding to 6.5K in mid-December.

The Scan Pump Save App saw a significant spike in downloads in mid-November, reaching 18.7K, but generally maintained lower download numbers, ending the quarter at 822.
