Top Travel & Local Apps on Android in Kenya Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the travel and local app market on Android in Kenya saw varying trends across the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower, these apps displayed distinct patterns in downloads and active users.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 22.5K in early October. However, downloads dipped to about 4.6K in the first week of December before rebounding to 20.8K by mid-December. Active users showed a steady decline from 191K at the beginning of the quarter to just over 54K by the end.

Easy Rout Map: Navigation Path had a notable surge in downloads, reaching a high of 13.5K mid-December, up from around 4.4K at the start of the quarter. Active users increased significantly from 21.2K to 33.4K over the same period.

Airbnb maintained a consistent increase in active users, rising from 21.7K in late September to 30K by the end of December. Downloads peaked at 5.9K in early November but saw a decrease to 2.5K towards the end of the quarter.

Ethiopian Airlines showed a steady download pattern, peaking at 5.5K in early December. However, active users declined from 14.4K in late September to approximately 6.8K by the end of December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a gradual increase in active users throughout the quarter, reaching over 102K by the end. Downloads also climbed, peaking at 4.6K during the holiday season.
