Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Hungary, Q4 2025

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Hungary's travel and local app market on Android showcased diverse trends, as reflected in data from Sensor Tower.

MÁV+ saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 9.9K in early October and peaking at 46K by mid-December. This app maintained a strong presence in the market without generating revenue.

Vonatinfó experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter at around 5.7K and dropping to nearly 3K by the end of December. However, its weekly active users started at 441K and decreased to 286K by the end of the quarter.

Ryanair downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, ranging from 3.3K to 4.4K, with active users peaking at 55K in late October before settling at 43K by year's end.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a steady download rate, hovering around 2.5K to 3.2K weekly. Its active user base fluctuated, starting at 191K and ending at 142K.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save showed moderate download activity, beginning at 2.3K and slightly decreasing to 2.1K by December's close. Active users saw an increase from 65K to 69K over the quarter.
